PERCEPTION ON TRANSITION TO FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES: ITS INFLUENCES ON THE STUDENTS’ READINESS IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION

The Philippines is still making the transition from holding online classes to reopening schools for in-person more than two years after pandemic began. Only in November 2021, 20 months began, were first formal face-to-face resumed country. At that time, 100 public and 30 private took part a pilot program small number of classes. study aimed determine perception on its influences students readiness physical education come up with recommendations conclusions. new educational norm emphasizes self-paced learning conjunction changing use technology modern world field It an extension each student has his or her own abilities intelligence, it assesses constructivists self-innovators. purpose was accompanied by quantitative approach using descriptive – survey method research. Researcher stratified random sampling when they want access differs simple sampling, which involves selection data entire population, so possible sample equally likely occur. After collection hundred (200) grade 9 Unson National High School, tallied, tabulated, analyzed formula weighted mean, standard deviation, Kendall tau Rank Correlation used examine inferences this result implies learn doing activity rather just reading. They can apply remember their prior knowledge as recall things have heard, watched, did. Students participate actively Physical Education class feel happy being involved teaching process. Based findings analysis shown study, level based social status, emotional health, size, style had significant terms knowledge, classroom behavior, cognitive skills, participation, sense belongingness. To reliable results since only cater Grade may also be necessary explore other future research endeavours area. This would provide holistic understanding about education.
